Tanya's Success Story

Tanya came to Calgary Career Hub looking for full-time work. She had been unemployed for about six months and found that the gap in her resume, combined with being new to the city and having a disability, made it very difficult to build a network and find opportunities.

The team at Calgary Career Hub helped Tanya identify her strengths and interests and taught her valuable skills about building her resume, searching for jobs, submitting applications, interviewing, and networking. Tanya was also introduced to networks of employers who were actively hiring. It didn't take Tanya long to find work. In fact, she was able to secure two part-time jobs. She is now working full-time hours in catering and general help.

Tanya says what she enjoyed the most about Calgary Career Hub was, "All of the classes. The classes were very informative for my interviews." "I have gained more confidence in myself," says Tanya.

The program really helped Tanya build her confidence and succeed on her terms.
