Paige's Success Story

Paige was at a crossroads as to what direction to take her life. She had done contract roles over the past few years since she wasn’t sure what to choose for her career. She had the education and credentials to present to employers, but she didn’t have the drive or confidence to find the right path. Locally there weren’t many options available for her either.

Paige was directed to Calgary Career Hub and worked with the staff to realize she needed to reevaluate what she wanted to do for her position. The Career Exploration and Career Hero workshops were essential. She learned the importance of soft skills, resume and cover letter reviews, interview preparation, application preparation for a complex government role, one on one coaching and even document formatting.

Calgary Career Hub kept in frequent contact to help motivate Paige and addressed all questions she had. With their help she was able to learn how to tell her story better and interviewed with the certainty that she was the right person for the job. Now Paige is employed as a Stewardship & Communication Coordinator and thriving at the opportunity to grow professionally.
