Mariia's Success Story
Mariia came to Canada to flee the war in her home country, Ukraine. She immediately began her job search, however, felt lost on how to highlight her skillset to the Canadian job market. Mariia decided to reach out to Calgary Career Hub to help build a stronger resume and cover letter, and to improve her interview skills.
Calgary Career Hub introduced Mariia to a personalized 12-week plan that included workshops, one to one support, and employer connections that included job leads. Mariia was able to create a strong resume & cover letter that properly highlighted her unique skillset, helped her build new connections within her industry, and gain more confidence in interviews. After accomplishing the steps to success that were laid out by Calgary Career Hub, Mariia successfully acquired a role as a Level 1 Insurance Administrator. Mariia stayed focused on her goal, and was able to not only improve her skills but also gain a new sense of confidence about how to market her talents.
